Our natural toys invite children to use their creativity and imagination while playing. Our toys don’t talk, count, dance or light up,therefore they don’t require a child to be an inactive observer, who just watches how the toys work.  Instead they actively involve the child in play.  They allow for creative playing, for directing and interacing.  Many of our natural toys are unstructured or open-ended and can be used for lots of different purposes.  The stacking bowls, for example, can be used to build a tower, as a container for storing treasures or as wooden boats in the bathtub. Our natural wooden toys require children to use their imagination, to complete the toy and to find the different purposes. There is something inherently interesting in natural toys. You will notice that your children will return to these wooden, natural toys time and time again, manipulating, exploring, questioning, investigating and creatively playing.
